Listen/purchase: Flat Earth Society by Jackass Penguins

This song is a clumsy mash up of two completely different songs. I didn’t do a good job of combining the two, and probably should have slowed down a little before settling on this as the final version. The original version had a different riff and structure. The music on this version is from an instrumental from around the same time called “Meat Lotto”. I still like this version, complete with a lame drum solo, and I hope you do too.

Lyrics:
I used to live on a grassy hill
Orange trees outside window sill
Now I stare at a prefab tract
Orange blossom days not coming back
Life was so nice before you moved in
Now it looks like it time I gave in
You wouldn’t care if I hit the road
You wouldn’t care if I’m put on hold

Preaching liquor store Christianity
I can’t stand your flat earth society
