I am unsatisfied with the tambourine on this track, but the song manages to hold itself together. This was written in the last days of my employment at UCR. I worked in a small room with no windows until they kicked me out to find a real job after graduation. It also alludes to my field camp experience in Montana. It was the longest time that I was away from my home state, ever. I loved being there and want to visit again many more times, but I ultimately belong in California.
