(42/365) Your favorite song from the 70’s: Again, there are many choices I could go with for this decade, but I’m choosing this epic. I think it’s Zeppelin’s best song. They didn’t rip it off from anyone else, as far as I can tell.
(41/365) Your favorite song from the 60’s: This was much harder for me to choose. I could list Bob Dylan songs, Ronettes songs, Beach Boys songs, Beatles songs, Monkees songs, or more obscure songs as my favorite from this decade. But, this, I think, is the best choice. A Dylan song made into the most radio-friendly ear candy I have ever heard. The 12-string is so hypnotic, the vocal harmonies are outstanding, the lyrics cryptic and mystical, and the song is under 3 minutes long. Quite a journey for a short amount of time.

Another “new” release. This time it’s from the year 2000. This one has no drums at all. There’s some good stuff in there if you can wade through the static hum.
(40/365) Your favorite song from the 50’s: This is kind of funny to watch. Chuck is waiting for them to roll the audio for an awkwardly long period before they finally play it, and then he’s lip syncing and swaying to the music. But this is my favorite song from the 50’s. I just love the imagination in the lyrics, and the song is very catchy. Who wouldn’t want to own a flying car? Back to the Future Part 2 lied to us.
I have been stressed out at work lately. I have a business trip coming up fast and there is a lot of pressure to get everything done in one trip. So working on archiving my past tapes has been therapeutic. I seriously did not expect to finish the latest tape until after the trip, but it’s possible that I may be able to release it tomorrow.
(39/365) A song that you wish you could sing really well: I wish I had the range of this dude. It sounds really bad when I try.
Uploaded a tape I found in a pile. Most of the songs were recorded on February 29, 2000, with a few recorded on March 28, 2000. The sound is super shitty to pretty good, sometimes all on the same song. If I play too soft, the recorder noise takes over. There are songs I forgot about completely, that were only on this tape. Some meh, some “holy shit”. Expect an early July release.
