My son has taken an interest in the ukulele. He’s almost 14 months old now. Having the ukulele out, I relearned a song I wrote 10 years ago. I was going to post the song, but it seems that I didn’t share it on this blog, and it’s not on my computer, which means it’s probably on my old computer, which I haven’t fired up in a few years. I will need to post that song eventually. Either that or re-record it now that I remember it again. I really needed this right now as my job is so damn stressful. Ukulele healing.

Released in 1998 amidst headlines of terrorism, salacious sex scandals and cigars, “Pornucopia” was the first album of material by Jackass Penguins that was really thought out and held to a concept. Remastered for the 15-year anniversary of its original release, it still is very lo-fi, but for the most part, you can hear what was played instead of mostly cassette noise.
