(127/365) The most obscure song by The Beatles that you can think of: This had much to do with influencing some of my more outlandish songs from the early ‘00s. I wasn’t into the Beatles prior to the 1 compilation (I was a hard headed Beach Boys fan prior to that) and quickly found that I liked their 1966-1967 experimental songs (later expanded to 99% of their discography). Anyway, enjoy.

I hate it when Tumblr fucks up your feed. I was in the middle of reading a post about Dennis Wilson’s surfboard that was on the covers of 2 Beach Boys records, and my feed decided to refresh. I don’t know who posted it, but if you are reading this, could you send me a message? I’m too lazy to scroll down, and I am going to reboot my phone. Thx.
(126/365) A love song you would want to be serenaded with: Do I really need to add anything else?
(125/365) A song you thought was about you: This song came out at a time in my life when I needed it. I was socially awkward and thought being cool was something that was important and what I could never be. Weezer reminded me that it’s alright to be a dork and to be cool in a way that no one will really appreciate, but fuck them. You are yourself, not them.
(124/365) The song that was sung in your favorite music video: Great song, amazing video. Not shot with a video camera, but with an SLR with a speed shutter, giving it the flutter of early silent films. Each scene is a representation of the lyrics. An enchanting video for a beautiful song. My favorite. Duh.
You know I’m such a fool for you
This is a great song to sing when one of your friends rips a mean fart at your place. Didja have to let it linger?
(123/365) A song by your favorite male vocalist: I love Robert’s take on this song. A legendary singer for sure.
Not too bad of a day…former SP bassist Nicole Fiorentino started following me on Twitter.
