(122/365) A song by your favorite female vocalist: There isn’t a vast array of tunes done by Astrud, but I totally adore her voice. I don’t know if it’s the accent, her use of glissando, or her tone that strikes me, but for having been pigeonholed into a certain style, she totally defines that style, and no one could ever do better.

Funny Collages by Barry Kite
Barry Kite is an American artist who diverts the famous masterpieces of classical painting to create funny compositions featuring the Mona Lisa, Vincent van Gogh or the Girl with a pearl. Between visual sampling, repositioning and parody, the collages of Barry Kite create an unlikely encounter between art history and Internet memes, exploring the modern and unbridled exploitation of images in our contemporary societies. Barry Kite‘s creations are available on the website of his studio Aberrant Art.

(121/365) Your favorite song from a genre you don’t typically like. I am a fan of Hank 3’s first two albums. But this is the song that brought my attention to him. I don’t listen to country, maybe country rock, but not country, and especially not modern country. But this kicks ass.
(120/365) A song you like by a band whose name you don’t: In the age of the internet, it is incredibly difficult to find information on a band named Frank Jordan, although it’s easier than it used to be. What’s worse, is no one in the band is named Frank Jordan, it’s just a name they picked that sounded cool to them. I know I’ve ranted about this before, but I think they should have been more popular.
(119/365) Your favorite song by a band or singer whose name starts with the letter B: This category is too damn heavy. How am I supposed to choose? I’m just going to put a B band that didn’t fit any of the other categories that deserves to be included in this challenge.
(118/365) A song with your name in it (middle names count if your first name is like Brunhilde or something): Why do I always have to row the boat ashore Goddammit? You know what, fuck this. YOU row the fucker yourself. I’m done with this shit.
The vinyl sounds great. It definitely sounds different, but I think that is due to the remastering. It’s less peaky. If you will it, it is no dream.
