This is a 2011 rendition of a song I wrote in 1994. It’s maybe the 3rd or 4th song I wrote on guitar. I have many other versions, but this is the best sounding, or maybe equal to the version I recorded with Alayne. I think I wrote better songs when I didn’t know what the hell I was doing.

A 2011 recording of Avocado Highway that is nearly identical to the original from 2001. This comes from the “Something New” EP that had maybe two new songs and mostly re-recorded songs. You can’t blame me for wanting a version with better sound quality. Fun fact: my mom used to work for the gentleman that introduced the bill that made a section of Interstate 15 the “Avocado Highway”.
