(105/365) A song that reminds you of something you regret: I went out with a girl that also worked at Kmart. I took her to see 200 Cigarettes in the theater, and then we had Denny’s. I took her back to her place in the country, and she gave me my first kiss. I instantly realized that she wasn’t right for me, and I avoided her after that. So yeah, I might have hurt her by being a wuss about it. I wasn’t really myself around her either, it’s just something that was really uncomfortable all around. Anyways, this song was playing after I dropped her off for the last time.

(104/365) A song that reminds you of the ocean: A little backstory is needed to explain why this reminds me of the ocean. I have good memories of listening to this cassette on my Walkman sitting in the backseat of my parents’ minivan while driving on the 101 to and from Santa Barbara, which is something we used to do at least every other month. Just looking out at the coast north of Ventura on a sunny morning or afternoon, listening to this and watching it go by. You should try it sometime, maybe in a convertible instead of a minivan.

(101/365) A song from a singer that your friends have met, and that makes you jealous: My sister got to hang out with Robert after a show at Irvine Meadows. She had gone to a few shows in the front row, and he recognized her because of that. It was platonic (I really don’t want to know if it was otherwise). I just think it would be amazing to be able to hang out with him and just talk about things.

(97/365) Your favorite classical song: I couldn’t find the exact song, but this is the composer of it. It’s really difficult trying to find a classical song if you don’t know the name, and the name is usually super boring and unimaginative. Haydn is my favorite composer, he really put some thought into his compositions. I think his works are much more sophisticated than Mozart, but what do I know.
