(105/365) A song that reminds you of something you regret: I went out with a girl that also worked at Kmart. I took her to see 200 Cigarettes in the theater, and then we had Denny’s. I took her back to her place in the country, and she gave me my first kiss. I instantly realized that she wasn’t right for me, and I avoided her after that. So yeah, I might have hurt her by being a wuss about it. I wasn’t really myself around her either, it’s just something that was really uncomfortable all around. Anyways, this song was playing after I dropped her off for the last time.

(104/365) A song that reminds you of the ocean: A little backstory is needed to explain why this reminds me of the ocean. I have good memories of listening to this cassette on my Walkman sitting in the backseat of my parents’ minivan while driving on the 101 to and from Santa Barbara, which is something we used to do at least every other month. Just looking out at the coast north of Ventura on a sunny morning or afternoon, listening to this and watching it go by. You should try it sometime, maybe in a convertible instead of a minivan.
(103/365) Your favorite Disney movie song: I think the Ramones should have done a cover of this song. Can you imagine?
(102/365) A song by a female singer you think does not have a very good voice: I HATE, LOATHE, DETEST this song. I HATHEST it so much. I will give Celine credit, she does have a good range and amazing control of her voice. I just don’t like the sound of her voice in the first place.
(101/365) A song from a singer that your friends have met, and that makes you jealous: My sister got to hang out with Robert after a show at Irvine Meadows. She had gone to a few shows in the front row, and he recognized her because of that. It was platonic (I really don’t want to know if it was otherwise). I just think it would be amazing to be able to hang out with him and just talk about things.
(100/365) A song from the last CD mix you made someone: My wife loves this song, so I put it on a CD for her. We sing it when we feed peaches to our son.
(99/365) A song that you like in part, because the title is so good: QOTSA always excels at good titles. The song here happens to kick ass as well.
(98/365) Your favorite song that you remember from a kid’s show: Was Ren & Stimpy really a kid’s show? Maybe not, but this was the first song I thought of.
(97/365) Your favorite classical song: I couldn’t find the exact song, but this is the composer of it. It’s really difficult trying to find a classical song if you don’t know the name, and the name is usually super boring and unimaginative. Haydn is my favorite composer, he really put some thought into his compositions. I think his works are much more sophisticated than Mozart, but what do I know.
(96/365) A song that makes you think about stars and the universe: This was a difficult decision, but I think I made the right choice.
