(110/365) Your least favorite song from someone you consider a one hit wonder: BARF!
(109/365) A song you like from someone you consider a one hit wonder: In case you didn’t already know, I love Hum. I can’t believe they are ON TOUR. I’ve got to figure out how I’m going to see them in LA.
(108/365) A song that has a lyric, that if you were one of those people that tattooed song lyrics on themselves, you would seriously consider: I just think it would be funny to have “Rufus is a Tit Man” tattooed on your body, never mind that Rufus turned out to be gay.
(107/365) A song that reminds you of one of your parents: I just remember hearing this in one of the rare times we didn’t have newsradio on in the van.
(106/365) A song you have to change right away if it comes on the radio: Could any song have a more annoying intro? I think not.
(105/365) A song that reminds you of something you regret: I went out with a girl that also worked at Kmart. I took her to see 200 Cigarettes in the theater, and then we had Denny’s. I took her back to her place in the country, and she gave me my first kiss. I instantly realized that she wasn’t right for me, and I avoided her after that. So yeah, I might have hurt her by being a wuss about it. I wasn’t really myself around her either, it’s just something that was really uncomfortable all around. Anyways, this song was playing after I dropped her off for the last time.
(104/365) A song that reminds you of the ocean: A little backstory is needed to explain why this reminds me of the ocean. I have good memories of listening to this cassette on my Walkman sitting in the backseat of my parents’ minivan while driving on the 101 to and from Santa Barbara, which is something we used to do at least every other month. Just looking out at the coast north of Ventura on a sunny morning or afternoon, listening to this and watching it go by. You should try it sometime, maybe in a convertible instead of a minivan.
(103/365) Your favorite Disney movie song: I think the Ramones should have done a cover of this song. Can you imagine?
(102/365) A song by a female singer you think does not have a very good voice: I HATE, LOATHE, DETEST this song. I HATHEST it so much. I will give Celine credit, she does have a good range and amazing control of her voice. I just don’t like the sound of her voice in the first place.
