I took a picture in 1993 in Joshua Tree. Fast forward to 1994, I enter it into a contest at school. I ended up getting second place. Besides a certificate, I get to choose something out of a box. There were CDs, and cassettes. I didn’t own a CD player, so I looked through the cassettes. There was Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick, Journey, and a promotional tape: Wool Box Set. I chose Wool as the others did not interest me at all. I was a little bummed out. Who’s ever heard of Wool? I thought it was a crappy prize. Then I listened to it. I was blown away. A few years later, I discovered this 45. Full circle, bitches.
