Leonard Nimoy sings “Where It’s At”
RIP
This is the dub version of Nuthin’ But A ‘G’ Thang that’s found on Dilutions of Grandeur. The decision to rap (poorly) over this track was made at the end of recording, so yes the music is original, the rapping was an afterthought. Not long after this was recorded, Snoop Dogg tried being a Lion. I’d like to think there was some connection but I know it’s just a crazy coincidence.

This was taken last summer, but I thought it looked cool. This was the day I shot the Aerial video.

Listen/purchase: (You Don’t Know) Jack Schitt by Jackass Penguins
I recently saw an ad for a show that uses Schitt the way I did in 1998. I’ve said it before, and I will say it again: this song deserves a newer, better version with vocals you can actually discern.

When I went to high school, no even middle school, you could buy soda on campus. Something my son will never know.

Listen/purchase: The Aeroplane Flies High (Turns Left, Looks Right) by Jackass Penguins
Something you can’t get on the iTunes or Amazon versions of this album is this track, clocking in at nearly 7 minutes and a pretty faithful cover, if you ask me. It’s only a minute and a half shorter than the original. Because your time is important.
The only deviation is to play Karma Police and fitter happier together, the rest follows the pattern. I’m only on Let Down right now. I was moved by Nude/Exit Music (For A Film). They totally go together.
I’m currently listening to a Radiohead playlist that was recently uncovered. Play track 1 on OK Computer then track 1 on In Rainbows, then keep going alternating albums. Apparently the band meant for both to be seamless. Looking at the tracklist, it is amusing that Bodysnatchers is followed by Subterranean Homesick Alien. So far it seems to work.
If you want this song, it’s available at the BandCamp page. The versions on iTunes and Google Play don’t have this song. This was the last song recorded for Flat Earth Society.
